An expert on the economic and political developments in Germany and the Eurozone, including the monetary policy of the European Central Bank, Brzeski is also a commentator on macro-economic developments in international media. Before joining German bank ING, he was senior economist and vice-president at ABN Amro’s Economics Department in Amsterdam, and spent almost four years at the European Commission, where he worked in the unit dealing with monetary and exchange rate matters in Europe. From 2000 to 2004, he was Senior Policy Advisor on European and international economic issues at the Dutch Ministry of Finance. Brzeski is a graduate in Economics at Free University of Berlin. He also studied at Northeastern University in Boston and at Harvard.
