Rachel Johnson

Editor, journalist and author

As a journalist, Johnson has written weekly columns for a range of national publications, including the Sunday Telegraph, Daily Telegraph and the Financial Times, and she is the former editor-in-chief of The Lady magazine. Her novels include Notting Hell, The Mummy Diaries and A Diary of The Lady. One of her novels, Shire Hell, won the Literary Review‘s infamous Bad Sex in Fiction Award. She is a board member of Bright Blue, the think-tank for liberal conservatism, and Intelligence Squared, the international debating forum. She is a panellist on the Sky News debate show The Pledge and has made television appearances on BBC1’s Famous, Rich and Hungry. Rachel Johnson has publicly fallen out with her brother, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, over Brexit.
